Thor hammers and mallets are still made in Solihull in the West Midlands by a family owned business. I (Ralph) still have my nylon faced hammer which I bought as a young apprentice at the tender age of sixteen when I was doing my engineering apprenticeship. Though the faces are replaceable, I am still on the first set, though it probably is time I changed them after 36 years! It is one of those tools you just keep using day in day out. A must for any motorcyle workshop.
