This is very affordable timing light for those who only want to set up the odd bike. It is not at the same level as the higher endGunson versions, but is much cheaper to buy and can be used to dynamically time a bike engine.
It is only suitable for use from a 12volt supply, but you can power the timing light with a 12v battery and still check the timing on a 6volt bike or even one using an old fashioned magneto for that matter.
BikeIt say it has a 1,000,000 flash capacity and is sold as being useable in daylight, though we suspect not in bright sunlight. It has built in protection should one connect it up the wrong way round to a battery.
